WESTLAKE, JAMES

January 6th, 2003 In Sacramento on January 3, 2003. Age 72. He is
survived by his loving wife, Alba Westlake, beloved children, Thomas
Westlake, Elaine Westlake, Scott Westlake and Sandra Westlake. Cherished
grandchildren, Gianni and Bianca Westlake. One brother, Wally Westlake. A
native of Sacramento, Mr. Westlake graduated from C.K. McClatchy in 1948.
He began a career in professional baseball, playing for such distinguished
ball clubs as the Sacramento Salons, San Francisco Seals and Philladelphia
Phillies. After baseball, Mr. Westlake was the dedicated employee of
Scott- Naake Paper Co., where he was a salesman for 50 years. Mr. Westlake
was a devoted family man, his unending love will always be felt by those
he cared for. Family and friends are invited to a Recertation of the Holy
Rosary on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at 6 PM at Andrews & Greilich
Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Rd., Sacramento, and to a Mass of Christian
Burial on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at 10 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church,
5961 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Westlake's name to Sutter
Hospice or the charity of the donors
