(p. 8) "George Treadway, an outfielder of years ago in the Pacific Coast and other leagues, died recently at Riverside, Calif. He was 66 years old. Treadway began with St. Paul and was with the Chicago Nationals from 1893 to '96, going to Brooklyn in '97. From there he was sent to Indianapolis and after two years there joined Seattle where his hitting is still remembered by the old timers. He wound up his career in Calumet in 1907." |
