WILL D. SMALLEY DIES Will D. Smalley, son of D. S. Smalley, and nephew of D.C. and William Smalley of this city, died Sunday morning at the residence of the latter. Mr. Smalley had been in poor health for some months, being taken ill while in the east. About two weeks ago, Mr. William Smalley, of this place, went to New York State, to bring him here, thinking the change would prove beneficial, but the young man rapidly declined until the end. Mr. Smalley visited Bay City one year ago on the way to his home in California. He was 20 years of age and naturally of robust constitution. David S. Smalley, father of the deceased arrived from California yesterday morning and Mrs. Tillyer of New York arrived this morning. The funeral services will be held at the residence of William Smalley, 210 Washington Avenue, this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The remains will be taken to California on the early train Wednesday morning. |
