Adam Adubato, 85, Cincinnati Reds Scout The
Newark Star Ledger, March 39th, 1999 Mr. Adubato died Sunday in the Community Medical Center, Toms River. He owned and operated the Exxon Service Station in Millburn for 30 years before retiring 20 years ago. For more than 10 years, he was a scout for the Cincinnati Reds. Mr. Adubato served as executive vice president of the semi-professional Essex County Baseball League during the 1950s and 1960s and was credited with helping players develop into professionals. Born in Newark, he lived in East Orange before moving to Ocean Gate 20 years ago. Besides his son, Mr. Adubato is survived by a daughter, Valerie; a sister, Lenore; three grandchildren and a great- grandchild. |
