LANDRUM, Don L. - Passed away January
9, 2003 at his residence in Pittsburg, at the age of 66. Born February
16, 1936 in Santa Rosa, CA, he was a resident of Pittsburg for 46 years.
A graduate of Mt. Diablo High School in Concord, CA in 1954.
Don was a professional baseball player for 13 years, having played with
the Phillies, Cardinals, Cubs, and the San Francisco Giants.
After retiring from baseball he worked in various business's in East Contra
Costa County. Member of The Church Of The Good Shepherd; avid San Francisco
Giants & 49ers Fan. Enjoyed playing cards (Pinochle) & collecting
baseball cards. Being with his family and grandchildren were the joy of
his life.
Don is survived by his wife, Annette Landrum, daughters, Susan Winkelbauer
and husband Jerry, Donna Allen and husband Carl, son, Robert Landrum and
wife Glenda, four grandchildren Ashley & Jonathan Allen, Amanda &
Matthew Landrum, sister, Donna Ewart, several nieces, nephews, cousins,
brother and sister in-law. Preceded in death by his parents, Theron &
Violet Lee, in-laws, Joe & Susie Sangimino.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 13, 2003 from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. with
a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. At The Pittsburg Funeral Chapel, 2295 Railroad Ave.,
Pittsburg, CA. 94565.
Mass will be Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003 at 12:00 Noon at the Church of the
Good Shepherd, 3200 Harbor Street, Pittsburg, CA.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2200 E. 18th Street in Antioch,
CA.
