JENKINS, WARREN WASHINGTON JR. "JACK," 59, of Tampa,
died Tuesday (June 18, 2002). Born in Covington, Va., he was a professional baseball player. He was a pitcher for the Washington Senators from 1962-1963 and for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1969. He was a member of Bayshore Baptist Church, the MLBPA and BASS. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Sheila; a son, Jeffrey Jenkins; a daughter, Jodi Cooney; his mother, Hilda Bilbro; his father and stepmother, Warren W. and Edith Jenkins; and a brother Herb Jenkins.
