Jeffrey Lynn James 64 years, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006.

He had a Master's degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Oregon. He was a retired truck driver, and played 11 years professional baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1969-1970 he played in the majors for the Phillies.

He is survived by his loving brother, Gary W. James; his son, Jeffrey James, Jr; 2 daughters, Kelly Burke and Kimberly James; and 7 grand-children; also his friend and companion, dog, Alex.
