Funeral services for Earl E. Huckleberry, 88, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel. Chris Stinnett will officiate.

Burial will follow in Vamoosa Cemetery.

Huckleberry died Thursday at Pioneer Nursing Home.

He was born May 23, 1910, in Vamoosa to Albert and Betty (McFarland) Huckleberry.

He lived in Seminole County, principally in Maud, all his life, retiring in 1985 from Rudmon Oil. He attended the Church of Christ.

He married Dollie Mae Wynn on Sept. 1, 1933, in Seminole; she died July 27, 1991.

Huckleberry was also preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris Yerby, Wolf; two grandchildren, Monty and Rick Yerby; and three great-grandchildren.
