Friend, Owen Lacey Jr., 80, Professional Baseball Player, died Oct. 14, 2007.

Survivors: children, Nancy (Friend) Blue and husband, Jerry of Wichita; Larry Friend and companion, Francis Holmes of Blackwell, OK; Terry Friend and wife, Laura of Derby, and their mother Maxine Friend of Wichita; sister, Ilene Willis and husband, Leo of Granite City, IL, brother, Forrest Friend and wife, Gerry of Madison, IL, grandchildren, Kayla Orindgreff of Wichita: Karley Butler and husband, Brett, and Christie Astle all of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary 5 p.m. Friday; Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 5:30 p.m.

A celebration of life reception will immediately follow the Mass of Christian Burial in fellowship hall all at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
