Ann B. Cindric, 88, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Muse and Canonsburg, died Saturday, December 18, 2010, in Holy Family Manor, Pittsburgh.

She was born September 5, 1922, in Jere, W.Va., a daughter of John and Catherine Yuric Cindric.

Prior to her retirement, she worked at Lafayette Manor Inc., Uniontown.

She played professional baseball in the All American Girls Baseball League and played softball in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

She played the button box with the International Button Box Club, was a member of SNPJ Lodge 138, Strabane, and was a Dominican Missionary Sister.

Surviving are her sister, Mildred Tekely of Nemacolin; a brother, George Cindric of Henderson, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are brothers Mitchel, Nick and Mike Cindric.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 22. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cecil.
